Privacy Policy

Prep Mate - Tech Interview — Last updated:

This policy explains how Prep Mate - Tech Interview (“we”, “the app”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our Android app distributed on Google Play. It is intended to meet transparency requirements described in Google Play’s app content and privacy and user-data expectations.

1. Data controller

The developer identified on the app’s Google Play listing is responsible for this processing. For privacy, deletion, and rights requests, use the developer contact email shown on that listing.

2. Data we collect

Depending on how you use the app, we may process:

3. How we use data

4. Who may access data

Access is limited to us, our service providers (e.g. hosting, authentication, analytics or ad SDKs as used in the app), and parties if required by law. Each third party processes data under its own policy where it acts as a separate controller or processor. We do not sell your personal information as a commodity; standard ad/analytics SDKs may use data as described in their policies.

5. Sharing & transfers

We share data with providers strictly as needed to run the app. Some providers may be in countries other than yours; where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (e.g. standard contractual clauses) as offered by those services.

6. Retention & deletion

We keep data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law.

To request deletion of your account or personal data we hold, email us using the developer contact email on our Google Play listing, or use any account or data-deletion option offered in the app. We aim to respond within about 30 days. Some requests may take longer if they are complex or if we must keep certain information to comply with law.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

8. Children

The app is intended for the age group indicated on our Google Play listing. Parents and guardians should decide whether the app is suitable before a child uses it.

Where the listing targets children under applicable local rules (for example, under 13 in the U.S. under COPPA), we treat children’s data in line with Google Play’s Families policies and applicable law. We encourage parents and guardians to supervise sign-in, chat, AI features, and any purchases or account settings.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live (e.g. EEA/UK GDPR), you may have rights to access, rectify, delete, restrict, object to, or port your data. Contact us using the developer contact email on our Google Play listing to exercise these rights (see also section 6 for deletion).

10. Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date above will change. Continued use of the app after updates may mean you accept the revised policy where allowed by law.
