This page describes how to request deletion of your account and associated personal data for the Android app Prep Mate - Tech Interview on Google Play.
How to request deletion
- Open the app’s Google Play store listing for Prep Mate - Tech Interview.
- Find the developer Contact / Developer contact section and note the email address shown there.
- Send an email from the address associated with your app account (if possible) with the subject line such as Account deletion request.
- In the message, state that you want your account and associated data deleted, and include any details that help us find your account (e.g. the email you use to sign in).
We aim to confirm and complete straightforward requests within about 30 days. We may need to verify your identity before deleting data tied to an account.
What we delete
When your request is approved, we delete or anonymize, where applicable:
- Your app account and profile data we hold on our servers.
- Learning progress and preferences stored for that account.
- Journal notes and similar content you saved in the app under that account.
- Server-side records of content you submitted for app features (e.g. requests processed to provide responses), where stored and linked to your account.
What we may keep (and why)
- Information we must retain by law or for legal claims, security, or fraud prevention, for as long as required.
- Aggregated or de-identified data that does not identify you.
- Data held only on your device until you uninstall the app or clear app data; remote deletion does not erase your device automatically.
- Sign-in with Google is also governed by Google’s account tools; revoking app access in your Google account may be needed separately.
Advertising: Our ad partners (e.g. Google) may process identifiers under their own policies. You can limit ad personalization in your device and Google account settings; that is separate from deleting your Prep Mate account on our servers.
Partial deletion (without closing your account)
If you only want certain in-app data removed, say so in your email. We will tell you what we can delete without deleting the whole account, or we may ask you to delete specific content in the app if that option exists.
